Investigating Location-Based Perceptions in the Context of a Mobile Application for Transportation

This research project is a collaborative partnership between Associate Professor Ulrike Gretzel and PhD student Michelle Sharpino from IIBSoR, and Professor Peter Eklund from Informatics.

The study aims to measure the sensitivity of individuals to reveal their location-identity in a transport context. A specific focus is on how actual usage experiences of a mobile phone application can change location-based privacy attitudes.

The study is part of a larger project directed by Prof. Peter Eklund, Director of the Centre for Digital Ecosystems,  and is funded through a Smart Infrastructure Research Award and CSIRO.
